Week 4, and my BIRTHDAY!

Soooooo. I felt like this week was never going to end. Thank god its FINALLY Friday! Its been a pretty boring week in English. I have been so unmotivated this week. On Monday, we got into groups and sweeney passed out papers and we had to talk about the 2 stories we had to read, its been a long week so i dont even remember what the books were called aha. That made me tired so i just sat there and did nothing. Wednesday, we brainstormed ideas about our papers that we have to write. We had atleast 50 words written out on the board. He said if we filled up the whole board we could go home early. Well Sweeney was being difficult and started scattering the words everywhere instead of putting the words at the end which aggravated all of us cause we really wanted to go home early! Our rough draft is due monday.... which means i probably wont do it till sunday..becauseeee MY BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW! So I don’t plan on doing any work this weekend! Sad part is that I don’t even know what I’m doing yet for my birthday L  hopefully my boyfriend surprises me with something! I cant believe ill be 19, I feel like I just turned 16. This is getting boring and im starting to run out of stuff to say haha

Sweeney just showed us a picture of his kids and their SO adorable! I didn’t even know he had kids! I just want to go home so my birthday weekend can finally start!

the library

This past Monday, instead of having regular class, we had to go to the library. it was kind of boring haha. We went on a scavenger hunt to know everything about the library, which we all already knew! We had to look up books on the computer, get magazines, take a picture of the whole group,print things out, and we did other different things around the library. It was useful if you didn't know anything about the library, but I already knew everything.Then we had to present it, everybody was talking and making jokes cause we were bored!!!! I would of rather listened to Sweeney talk then do that! The librarian probably thought we were being rude but oh well... even Sweeney was laughing! I think next time we should take a field trip to the grill so we can eat! I'm always hungry in that class! I'm so glad Morgan came and sat by me cause she made me laugh the whole time and made it more fun! but I do appreciate the librarian taking time out of her day to come talk to us and tell us everything about the library. Well I've never wrote a blog so this is kind of new to me. So lets see how this goes. This week has been crazy and hectic. Tuesday the weather called for snow, which I actually doubted. Virginia weather is so bi-polar you never know what's the weather going to be! I woke up Wednesday morning, looked out the window and everything was white! but school still WASNT closed! It was opening up at 10! It was so ridiculous, the roads are going to be horrible and icy! I told my mom I was absoutely not going even if i did still have class, I wasn't going to risk my life or my car. Thursday morning was a different story. The roads were still bad but I didn't really have a choice so I still had to go to school. By the way, Im VERY unexperienced driving in the snow! well I was on the way to school, everything going good, until I got to flank road.... I was going around the turn, going really slow, and all of a sudden, the ice took over my car and I started sliding! and then in the ditch I go, I had no idea what to do, I just started freaking out! The day could not get any worse. so I'm sitting in the ditch calling everyone, and then this really nice old man came over to me and asked if I was okay and everything and asked if I had called anybody. I was still freaking out at this point so I didn't have a lot to say, he started thinking, and then he said "what if we try to go backwards and get on that driveway?" I didn't want to risk getting more stuck so I wasn't too sure about this idea. I told him he could go right ahead if he wanted to try it. Well thank god I told him he could do it, he got in and did exactly what he said he would do and it worked out perfectly! I was SOOO HAPPY!!! there are no words to explain how happy I was, I was scared my car was going to be damaged and I would have to pay $200 to get it towed! I can't even count how many times I hugged him! there's people like him in this world that I am so thankful for, considering he was the only one that came to make sure I was okay! and I still was able to make it to my 9:30 class!
